Folders

Before step one: You are using a Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, to view Help. For all procedures, switch back to Internet Mail and News by clicking one of its windows or choosing it on the Finder menu before you do step one.

To add a folder

  1. If the Mail window is not open, choose Mail from the Windows menu.
  2. On the Mail menu, choose New Mail Folder.
  3. Type a name for the new folder.

To move a message to a folder

  1. If the Mail window is not open, choose Mail from the Windows menu.
  2. In the message list, select the mail message you want to move.
  3. On the Message menu, point to Move Message To, and then choose the folder you want to move the message to. Or, drag the message from the message list to the folder.

To rename a folder

  1. If the Mail window is not open, choose Mail from the Windows menu.
  2. Select the folder you want to rename.
  3. On the Mail menu, choose Rename Mail Folder.
  4. Type a new name for the folder.

  2. Select the folder you want to delete.
  3. On the Edit menu, choose Delete Folder.
